Located on the northern side of Cyclades, Tinos is the third biggest island after Andros and Naxos. Tinos is one of the most important islands as the Church of Virgin Mary of Tinos is located there. The capital of Tinos, Chora, has seen great development due to the discovery of the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary. Also, all tourist activities and the majority of the island's population live in Chora. Tinos has many picturesque villages such as Dio Horia, Triantaros, Cardiani and Koumaros but also unique beaches with natural beauty, pebbles, sand and green waters. Some of the them are Kolimpithra, Livada Bay, Agios Ioannis-Porto, Pahia Ammos and Saint Phokas.

By boat from Piraeus port, speedboat ( 3.5 hours ), conventional ( 5 hours ). Departures also from the port of Rafina, Andros port, Mykonos port and Syros port.
